WHY WE INTERCROP CASHEW WITH CASSAVA
The cashew plant is a cash crop with a yielding capacity of more than 50 years.
Presently the demand for cashew nuts is 3.3 million metric tonnes while the supply is less than 2 million metric tonnes. The only way to breach the gap is more plantation.
Cassava production on the other hand has the potential to generate a lot of money along the value chain, starting from the cassava tuber, processing, packaging, marketing, and export. There is also a daily increase in demand for its products and bye product. Everything about cashew and cassava has money-yielding potentials.
Because cashew grows after the third year, thus we intercrop it with cassava for at least the first 3 years. This is to maximize the land, and ensure farm owners get returns annually.
Imagine the magic of intercropping these two money milking crops. Without a doubt, cashew-cassava farming is a gold mine that requires mining.

FARM MANAGEMENT FEE
This is the fee charged by Suntwist Nigeria Limited to oversee and manage the operation of your farm. This is paid on a monthly basis, and the amount paid will be determined by the number of acres being managed.
