The food recipe is the BANANA BREAD recipe.

Banana isn’t just a delicious and convenient snack they’re also packed with enough nutrients.  Banana is one of the most popular fruit worldwide with numerous nutrients, they vary in color, size, and shape. The Latin name for banana is “Musa sapientum” which translates to the part of the wise men.

The most common type is the Cavendish which is a type of dessert banana, they are sweeter and eaten raw. Green when unripe, it yellow as it matures.

Bananas are the fourth most-valued food crop globally. Dan Koeppel, author of the Banana: The fate of the fruit that changed the World, calls bananas “one of the most intriguing organisms on earth”.

Being delicious, its health benefits are amazing.

Banana can help lower blood pressure and protect heart health due to high potassium and low salt content, they are a healthy source of fiber, potassium, magnesium, calcium, iron, and zinc also a source of vitamin C, A, B6, and Niacin with various antioxidants and phytonutrients. Vitamin B6 helps your body maintain a healthy nervous system, metabolize amino acids, and also helps to produce red blood cells.

Vitamin C helps protects your body against cell and tissue damage also helps in better absorption of iron.

Bananas are a good dietary source of potassium and magnesium (two nutrients that are essential for heart health). They can help beat gastrointestinal issues such as constipation, heartburn, and stomach ulcers.

Studies suggest that potassium deficiency can cause a decrease in testicular testosterone. Increasing banana consumption and raising testosterone levels will improve libido and sexual endurance.

Bananas have twice as many carbohydrates, 5 times as much vitamin A and iron, and 3 times as much phosphorus as apples. They are good energy boosters so when you feel tired in the afternoon don’t go for sugary snacks or beverages or coffee. Just grab a banana and munch it.
